Zac Efron, the famous and rich “High School Musical” star has been trending for the end of April for something that was totally out of context. On April 21, after having a cameo on Bill Nye’s Earth Day Musical, Zac Efron sparked plastic surgery rumors because of his oddly shaped face with a noticeably different structure. It wasn’t Bill Nye the Science Guy that got the internet up in arms, as viewers zoomed in, they noticed Efron’s changed jaw and lips looking plump. So, did Zac Efron get plastic surgery? Well, everyone has been battling online, especially on twitter, with the meme spree and opinions. It’s surprising for people because the perfect actor is trying to go to the next level of perfection with plastic surgery.

According to Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Som Kohanzadeh,
“After seeing the side by side pictures of Zac Efron, I can see a noticeably different face, especially the wider jawline. In my professional opinion, just by looking at the picture, I do not see a surgery that was done but a non-surgical element is in play such as injections in both the jaw and lips.”
Dr. Som from “Dr. Som Plastic Surgery” also tells us that Efron may have had dental surgery inside his mouth that is unnoticed from the outside, in which case it has led to swelling in the few days before the video. The theory of plastic surgery is the obvious choice to make when looking at the noticeable difference, so good eye.
The last thing Dr. Som told us about the picture is the worst-case scenario of Efron falling prey to an overfilled injection that has taken a more drastic look, but eventually will go back to its original form. You have to find a trusted plastic surgeon with a good grasp of cosmetic injections for the face and not just a body contour. It’s safe to say the doctor he went to had recommended too many injections if that’s the case.
